Root canal treatment is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent re-infection of the tooth and save the natural tooth. When one undergoes a root canal, the inflamed or infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed.
Procedure:
X RAY: Root canal starts with a simple x- ray of the tooth. It helps to see the location of the canals in the root, no of roots and infection in the bone around the tooth.
Anesthesia: Concerned tooth is made numb to minimize discomfort to the patient.
Disinfection of the tooth: An access hole or opening is made in the tooth and infected pulp and bacteria is removed.
Filling: Once the tooth is cleaned, the root of the tooth is filled with an artificial material called as gutta percha.
Above procedure can be completed in multiple visits or in a single sitting

A smile design is a dental procedure which artistically creates straighter, whiter and beautiful natural looking smiles. Smile designs can do wonders to fully restore your dental health and appearance regardless of the original state of your existing teeth.
Age decreases our smile due to wear, chipping and discoloration. This can happen gradually and can be very embarrassing. Smile enhancement can get you smiling again.
Teeth’s whitening is a simple process. Whitening products contain one of two tooth bleaches (hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide). These bleaches break stains into smaller pieces, which make the color less concentrated and your teeth brighter.
Whitening is often desirable when teeth become yellowed over time for a number of reasons, and can be achieved by changing the intrinsic or extrinsic color of the tooth enamel.

Impaction, tooth decay, periodontal and gum disease, trauma, or tooth overcrowding are all reasons a dentist may recommend a tooth extraction. A simple extraction is the removal of a tooth that is visible in your mouth. It’s common for a general dentist to perform simple extractions. During a simple extraction, your dentist will numb the tooth and gum tissue and loosen the tooth with an instrument called an elevator before removing it with dental forceps.
This dental option is one of many potential solutions for those who have missing teeth or require teeth to be extracted.
Complete dentures, also known as full dentures, are removable replacements for a patient’s entire set of teeth. They are completely customized and restore the shape and look of natural teeth. Conventional dentures also improve mastication, which means you can crush, grind, and eat food normally again.
Dental implants are artificial structures that a dental surgeon inserts into a person’s jawbone. A person may need an implant if they have lost one or more teeth. With screw-like devices, the surgeon inserts an implant into the jawbone, and it acts as an anchor for an artificial tooth, called a crown.
The crown is custom-made to fit the person’s mouth and match the color of their teeth. Crowns look, feel, and function like natural teeth.
Dental Filling is a treatment modality to restore missing tooth structure which could have been a result of decay or trauma. Decay makes tooth hollow. Dental Filling helps to fill this gap and protect it from further decay. A filling is also used to repair broken or cracked tooth and the teeth which wear off due to dental habits like teeth grinding, nail biting etc.
There are various signs and symptoms where fillings can be required. The symptoms could be as below:
